Happy Wars kind of hits the spot if you’re looking for a no-brainer that’s addictive and fun. All that’s missing are dragons, unicorns and Michael Bay brand explosions But then again, that’s how war is, a mess of things and you always have to keep an eye out for fireballs, lightning strikes, swords, maces and crossbow arrows. Since arenas in Happy Wars can host up to 30 players at a time, things can get cluttered at times and because it’s a very dynamic game, you might lose yourself in the chaos of a battle. However, when playing, it’s an entirely different story. You have a handful of keys to use for movement and combat, your hero levels up, gains a decent number of skills and you must use them to defeat whoever stands in your way. You get to choose between three classes, warrior, cleric, mage and your duty is to be a team player and help besiege the enemy base. On the contrary, it’s great to have in front of you a game that looks cuddly and harmless but is actually tougher and more challenging that a lot of similar games. And you should not take the previous statement as something bad. Happy Wars is somewhere between a MOBA and an RPG, set in a fantasy world that might as well have been conceived in the mind of a very creative 10 year old. Total mayhem, the kind with childish chuckles and rocket powered battering rams It’s a massive online multiplayer title that lets you loose in a comic-style world where you engage in funny team battles that are as tough as they are entertaining.

It was the first free-to-play game offered on Xbox Live, with customization options sold at microtransaction amounts.Happy Wars, a game that’s seriously overdosed on cuteness. Happy Wars launched in 2012 on Xbox Live Arcade, in 2014 on PC and then in 2015 for Xbox One, where it will still survive. The Xbox One version of the game will continue to host new in-game events after that date.

Happy Wars’ in-game events will continue on PC and Xbox 360 until June 13. Afterward, they become locked to their platform, where they will be usable until the game shuts down on PC and Xbox 360 in December. With the game still active on Xbox One, that means players have one week - until March 15 - to transfer any of their Happy Tickets to that version.

Happy Tickets, the game’s currency available for purchase with real money, will no longer be sold after 8 p.m. Happy Wars will be removed from the Xbox 360 and Windows 10 marketplaces on June 14. The shutdown happens on those two platforms on Dec. It’s closing down on Windows PC and Xbox 360.
